Welcome the Athens Homebrewers Club - ALEZ (Athens League of Extraordinary Zymurgists). Members of the club have been appreciating or brewing good beer from over 25 years to as little as a few months.

Everyone with a passion for great beer, cider or anything else that can be fermented is welcome at any of our functions.

We hold regular meeting on the 3rd Thursday of every month at the Terrapin Brewery on Newton Bridge Rd.

Club Objectives:

• Provide a venue for social interaction and activities centered on the foundation of homebrewing
• Education about beer, brewing techniques and expanding our brewing horizons
• Coordinate and host homebrew competitions
• Creating an awareness for the hobby and appreciation of homebrewing
• Promoting the responsible use and enjoyment of beer
