Measuring O.G., F.G. and Calculating the ABV of your Beer
I'm suggesting for this meeting a demonstration on using a hydrometer and refractometer to get your original gravity, final gravity and calculating your ABV (Alcohol by Volume)

Sounds like a pretty good discussion topic. I'll volunteer to bring pretzels to the meeting, since I still have a whole bag left over.

What's a Hydrometer :?: :lol: All kidding aside thats a great idea! I use www.brewersfriend.com for all my calcuators its a great site. Bruce or John or somebody please remind me to bring up labling the beers that you bring to the meetings. There are allways a bunch of beers floating around that I don't know what they are or who brewed them. A simple paper lable held on with a rubber band woud work just fine. Writing on bottle caps just don't work.
